1. About AssignMate

AssignMate ("we", "us", "the Service") provides AI-generated writing feedback reports for parents of NSW Year 1–7 students. By submitting a report request or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. What the Service is

AssignMate is a feedback support tool. The report you receive:

• Identifies writing strengths and improvement priorities.
• Explains rubric criteria in plain language.
• Provides coaching questions for parents to ask at home.
• Offers an estimated performance range — not an official grade or mark.

3. What the Service is not

• Not a grading service.We do not issue official marks. Our estimated range is not a teacher's mark and must not be represented as one.
• Not affiliated with NESA, ACARA, or the NSW Department of Education. Our reports are not endorsed by any education authority.
• Not a homework completion service.AssignMate will not write, rewrite, or complete any part of a student's assignment. Any submission that asks for or receives a final-answer response is in breach of these Terms.
• Not a substitute for teacher assessment.All feedback is supplementary and should be discussed with the student's teacher.

4. Your responsibilities

• You must be the parent or legal guardian of the student whose work is submitted. You must be aged 18 or over.
• You must remove all student names, school names, teacher names, and other personal identifiers from the draft before submission. The mandatory redaction checklist must be completed truthfully.
• You must not submit content that is abusive, deceptive, or unlawful.
• You must not attempt to use the Service to have a student's assignment written or rewritten.

5. Payment and refunds

Your first three completed reports are free. After that, you can buy a one-time report credit for A$2.99, a 30-day pass for A$9.99, or a three-month term pass for A$19.99. Prices and the applicable terms are shown before checkout, and payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Refund policy for paid reports: Because a report is generated immediately after a credit is used, refunds are available only where:

• We have not yet started generating your report, or
• We are unable to deliver a report because of our error, not a policy breach.

Refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase by emailing assignmate@magnetfy.app.

6. Intellectual property

The report we generate is provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share it with the student's teacher or school. You may not sell, redistribute, or publish it commercially.

All other content on this website (text, design, code) is owned by AssignMate and may not be reproduced without permission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, AssignMate is not liable for:

• Any inaccuracy in the AI-generated feedback.
• Any outcome (academic or otherwise) resulting from acting on the report.
• Any indirect, special, or consequential loss.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid for that report, if any.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users with active accounts by email before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
